Hex Cascade™ respects your privacy. This policy describes what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights under applicable data protection laws including the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) where it applies.

Data we collect

Game progress (levels, scores, shards), device settings (audio, haptics), and optional account identifiers if you sign in with Apple, Google, or Game Center. Purchase history is handled by Apple App Store or Google Play.

When you use our website and see ads, we and our advertising partners may collect online identifiers (such as cookie IDs), IP address, device and browser information, and data about how you interact with pages and ads.

How we use data

To save your progress, sync across devices when signed in, improve gameplay, provide customer support, and—on the web—serve and measure advertising. We do not sell your personal information.

Advertising (web)

Hex Cascade™ uses Google AdSense and related Google advertising services on hexcascade.com and in the browser game at play.hexcascade.com. Google and other ad technology providers may use cookies and similar technologies to:

Non-personalized ads are based on the content you are viewing rather than your past browsing. They may still use cookies for frequency capping, aggregated reporting, and security where consent is required under applicable law.

Consent, cookies & CMP (EEA, UK, Switzerland)

If you are in the European Economic Area (EEA), the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we comply with Google’s EU User Consent Policy and applicable ePrivacy and GDPR rules.

We use a Google-certified consent management platform (CMP) that integrates with the IAB Transparency and Consent Framework (TCF), as required for publishers using AdSense when serving personalized ads in those regions (Google CMP requirements).

Before we use non-essential cookies or local storage for advertising—or process personal data for personalized ads—we ask for your consent through that CMP. You can:

If you do not consent to personalized advertising, we and Google may still show non-personalized ads where permitted. Partner vendors participating in personalized ads are disclosed in the CMP when you make your choices.

Your rights

You may request access, correction, restriction, portability of personal data we hold about you, or object to certain processing. You may lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority.

Delete your account and game data (self-service): Sign in, open the in-game Profile screen (Settings → Profile), and choose Delete My Account. You must type delete my account to confirm. We then start a 24-hour grace period: you are signed out immediately, cloud sync stops, and your synced data remains on our servers only until the grace period ends. Sign in again within 24 hours and select I changed my mind to cancel. After 24 hours without cancelling, we permanently delete your linked account, synced progress, achievements, shards, and related game data from our systems. This cannot be undone.

We do not handle routine deletion by email—use the in-product button.

For other privacy requests you cannot complete yourself (for example, a formal access request), contact us on Discord.

Retention

We retain game and account data while you use the service. If you request deletion, we keep it during the 24-hour grace period, then delete it when the grace period ends (or when you complete a pending deletion on next sign-in). Otherwise we retain data for a reasonable period afterward unless retention is required by law. Cookie and advertising data retention periods depend on your CMP choices and our partners’ policies.

Third parties

Sign-in and payment services are provided by Apple, Google, Game Center, and your app store. Web advertising is provided by Google (AdSense) and ad technology partners you may approve in our CMP. Their privacy policies apply:

Your choices

Disable haptics and audio in game Settings. Manage ad and cookie consent through our CMP on the website. Schedule account deletion from in-game Profile → Account Deletion in the web game (sign-in with Apple or Google required for synced accounts).

Children

Hex Cascade™ is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
